Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. The role involves supervising daily routines, guiding academic, emotional, and social development, and leading devotions with students.

Two-spouse teamwork is required, with a minimum of two years of marriage and a shared commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver\'s license.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
