Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. This two-person role requires married couples who can provide daily supervision, guidance, and a family-like environment focused on academic, emotional, and social development.

You will manage household routines, arrange activities, lead devotions, and support student wellness, including transportation and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models for students

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
