Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live in on-campus homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of 8-13 students. Responsibilities include managing routines, supervising wellness, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance as part of a structured, family-like environment.

The role requires a two-person married couple (at least two years), both aged 27+, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Care and supervision of 8-13 students in a home setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
