Job summary

Oregon State University is seeking a capable 4‑H Program Coordinator for Morrow County. You will lead the county 4‑H Youth Development Program, engage volunteers, and coordinate diverse non-credit educational experiences for youth and families.

Responsibilities include expanding outreach, building partnerships, and evaluating impact to promote positive youth development across the county.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in youth development, volunteer development, education, family sciences, natural resources, leadership, management, communications, or a closely related field.
Experience interacting successfully with adult volunteers.
Experience teaching or developing Extension or youth-focused educational programs.
Proficiency with office software and digital collaboration tools.
Ability to lead groups and engage with youth 5-19 years of age.
Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership for the Morrow County 4-H Youth Development Program.
Expand visibility and participation through outreach, marketing and communication.
Develop, deliver, and evaluate non-credit educational programs for youth and volunteers.
Provide educational experiences via clubs, camps, school enrichment, after-school programs, workshops and leadership development.
Foster inclusive, respectful, collaborative work environments and effective volunteer supervision.
