Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire Extension Carroll County Office in Conway seeks a County 4-H Program Manager to lead volunteer-based youth programming, coordinating 30 volunteers across 10 clubs and partnerships serving 95 families.

The role requires evening and weekend activities, budget oversight, office administration, and collaboration with field specialists to develop pathway programs in STEM, civic engagement, and healthy living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or human services or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• NH driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer Development and Support: manage 30 volunteers across 10 clubs; recruit, train, guide and support as needed.
• County 4-H Pathway Development: plan and coordinate activities including fairs and follow-up experiences.
• State 4-H Pathway Support: participate in statewide planning and coordination of events.
• Program Support and Community Engagement: engage with advisory councils, legislators, and staff meetings.
• Program Reporting: track enrollment, collect evaluation data, and complete timely reporting.
• Professional Development: set goals with supervisor and pursue relevant training.
