Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field.
• Ten years of experience as a deputy or assistant county or city manager or chief administrator of a governmental organization.
• Eight years in public finance, planning, or budgeting.
• Five years of experience with public boards, committees, and agency constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversight of County operations; set priorities and performance expectations.
• Advise Board of Commissioners on operational, financial, organizational, and policy matters.
• Develop annual budget and oversee grants and major projects.
• Coordinate long-range planning for operations, facilities, and capital improvements.
• Represent County with federal, state, and local agencies and stakeholders.
