Job summary

Henry County Schools in Georgia seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the district's financial planning, budgeting and SPLOST management, ensuring fiscal stability to improve student outcomes. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
Georgia Leadership certification preferred.
Minimum of five years of administrative/supervisory experience.
Knowledge of public education and driving improvement in student achievement.
Ability to lead multi-year financial planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities

Lead the district’s short-term and long-term financial planning and SPLOST budgeting.
Develop and implement district-wide financial policies and procedures.
Direct annual budget development and financial reporting.
Coordinate with auditor(s) and respond to requests.
Provide leadership for payroll, purchasing, accounting and financial operations.
Collaborate with Superintendent and Board of Education on financial strategy.
