Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field.
• Ten years of experience as deputy/assistant county manager or chief administrator, plus eight years in public finance, planning or budgeting.
• Five years of experience with boards, committees, and agency constituencies; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversee county operations; align priorities with the Board of Commissioners.
• Develop and monitor the annual budget and oversee grants and major projects.
• Coordinate long-range planning, risk management, and institutional controls across county departments.
