The role emphasizes relationship-building, sales growth, and delivering exceptional service. Schedule includes weekday hours with periodic Saturday coverage; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of customer service or sales experience; plumbing/HVAC preferred.
• Sales mindset with ability to meet goals, build relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
• Strong communication skills for consultative selling and customer engagement.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Serve as product expert on plumbing, HVAC, and related products to guide decisions.
• Drive sales growth by upselling, cross-selling and promoting programs.
• Use catalogs, systems, and databases to locate parts and provide accurate information.
• Process transactions accurately while delivering a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support account growth and seamless service.
• Manage special orders and follow up on status, back-orders, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized counter reflecting quality and service.
• Assist with inventory, cycle counts, and stock organization.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE requirements.
