Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Counter Salesperson in Sanford, NC. This role focuses on assisting customers at the counter, processing sales orders, and maintaining showroom presentation.

You will work to attract and retain customers and coordinate with the Profit Center Manager to meet revenue goals. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of customer service or counter sales experience, strong product knowledge, and excellent communication and listening skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in customer service or counter sales.
• Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
• Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to listen carefully and understand customer needs.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who purchase or pick up merchandise at the Profit Center.
• Accurately process and fill Sales Orders generated at the sales counter.
• Attract and retain customers and work with the PCM to establish revenue targets.
• Verify Pick Ticket ship date and obtain customer signature before release of material.
• Provide customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
• Keep the counter area neat, stocked, and safely displayed.
