Job summary

Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Counter Salesperson for its Sanford, NC location to assist customers at the counter and process sales orders with accuracy. You will attract and retain customers while collaborating with the Profit Center Manager to hit revenue and margin targets.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in customer service or counter sales, knowledge of the Profit Center's products, and solid English communication skills. A team-oriented environment and commitment to safety are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in customer service or counter sales; contractor sales preferred.
• Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter with purchases and pickups.
• Process and fill Sales Orders accurately.
• Attract and retain customers and grow revenue.
• Work with the Profit Center Manager to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Verify ship date on Pick Tickets and obtain customer signature.
• Provide product specifications, pricing, and availability information.
• Keep counter area, displays, and stock neat and safe.
• Communicate changes in customer business that could affect credit risk.
• Process cash sale returns and refund paperwork per policy.
• Inform supervisor of inventory levels affecting service.
• Assist colleagues with calls, stocking, and order pulling as needed.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
