Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Counter Salesperson to assist customers at the Profit Center, process orders, and maintain displays. You will work closely with customers to determine needs and present suitable products, ensuring accurate pricing and availability.

We value strong customer service, clear verbal communication, and product knowledge. Prior counter sales or contractor sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service or counter sales; contractor sales preferred.
• Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the Profit Center who purchase or pick up merchandise.
• Accurately process and fill Sales Orders generated at the sales counter.
• Attract and retain customers and establish revenue targets with the PCM.
• Verify ship date accuracy and collect customer signature before release.
• Provide customers with pricing, product specs, and availability.
• Maintain counter area and merchandise displays in a neat, stocked, and safe condition.
• Report inventory levels and stock depletions to ensure service levels.
• Assist coworkers with calls, stocking, and pulling orders for delivery.
