Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Lead Counter Sales Associate to join our on-site team in California. You will be the primary contact for walk-in, phone, and will-call customers, handle orders, coordinate delivery, and provide timely updates on order status.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in customer service, selling or related field.
• Experience using sales order software, familiarity with Oracle.
• Knowledge in company product lines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to our walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
• Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery and updates customers on order status.
• Serves as point of contact for escalation issues.
• Provides training and support to new counter staff.
• Acts as liaison between supervisor and customers.
• Ensures purchase orders are completed.
• Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions and making customers aware of product promotions.
• Ensures merchandise displays are stocked and clean.
• Generally, has 7+ years of experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
