Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a customer-focused in-store sales representative in Waukegan, IL. You will handle telephone orders, assist customers at the counter, and support warehouse activities while promoting products and services.

You will maintain customer records, assist with pricing, and engage in outbound calls to key customers. A high school diploma and 1+ year of related experience are preferred. Lift requirements apply and driving records must be clean.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year customer service/inside sales/counter sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Perform customer service activities including taking telephone orders, answering questions, resolving issues, and tracing order status or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as in-store sales representative.
• Maintain customer records and pricing in systems.
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small business customers.
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and support additional locations.
