Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Counter Sales Associate in Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at the retail counter, handling inquiries, processing orders, and supporting inventory and pricing accuracy.

You will also assist the Outside Sales team and promote gas products and accessories. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a customer-facing role, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year customer service, inside sales, or counter sales preferred.
• Strong customer service skills are essential for success.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related driving conviction in last 10 years.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service activities, including taking and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving issues, and tracing order status or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods accessories and conduct in-store demonstrations.
• Maintain customer records and pricing accuracy.
• Make outbound calls to retail and small customers.
• Sell products at minimum discount to meet target margins and support additional locations as needed.
