Job summary

Federated Co-ops Inc is seeking a Full-Time Counter Sales person for the Rush City Agronomy Center to assist customers with product questions, purchases, and orders. You will check out customers at the register, handle payments, and carry merchandise to vehicles while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires 18+ years old, strong problem solving and communication abilities, and the willingness to learn multiple software programs (Word/Excel).

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years customer service (preferred)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Good problem solving, organization and communication skills
• Ability to learn multiple software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Driver's License (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Check customer out at register.
• Carry merchandise and feed bags to vehicle for customers.
• Complete general housekeeping duties.
• Report to store management with complaints, concerns, or questions.
• Answer phone, respond to customer questions and take orders.
• Receive payments from customers.
• Fill propane cylinders.
• Perform customer billing of products and services.
• Run forklift – Federated will provide training.

Federated Co-ops, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Counter Sales person to join our team at the Rush City Agronomy Center! In this role, the Counter Sales person will provide excellent customer service by assisting Agronomy Center customers with product questions, purchases, orders, and other day-to-day needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Counter Sales include the following.
