Job summary

Federated Co-ops, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Counter Sales person at the Rush City Agronomy Center in Rush City, MN. The role focuses on assisting customers with product questions, purchases, orders, and other daily needs. Excellent customer service and basic software skills are required.

The position includes duties such as checkout, handling payments, stocking merchandise, and occasional forklift operation. Industry training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Good problem solving, organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends during peak season.
• Driver's License preferred.
• Learn multiple software programs including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Check customer out at register, accept payment and give change.
• Carry merchandise and feed bags to vehicles for customers.
• Complete general housekeeping duties.
• Report to store management with complaints, concerns, or questions.
• Answer phone, respond to customer questions and take orders.

• Run forklift and receive training.

Job Details: Job Location: Rush City Country Store & Fuels - Rush City, MN 55069, Position Type: Full Time, Federated Co-ops, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Counter Sales person to join our team at the Rush City Agronomy Center! In this role, the Counter Sales person will provide excellent customer service by assisting Agronomy Center customers with product questions, purchases, orders, and other day-to-day needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Counter Sales include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Check customer out at register. Accepts payment and makes change.
• Carry merchandise and feed bags to vehicle for customers.

Qualifications: Requirements:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Good problem solving, organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends during peak season.
• Driver's License (preferred).
• Uses equipment in a safe manner.
• Ability to learn multiple software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:

• 1 - 3 years customer service (preferred)

The wage range for this position is $18 - 21/hour. The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
