Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Count Room Supervisor to hire, train, and lead Countroom staff. You will protect large currency flows, ensure compliance with Ohio Lottery rules for VLTs, and coordinate with Cage, Players Club, and Accounting.

You’ll schedule shifts, enforce SOPs, and report daily receipts with accuracy. Ideal candidates have 3+ years cashiering/banking experience, the ability to obtain regulatory licenses, and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ cashiering or banking experience
• Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment
• Must successfully pass background check and alcohol/drug screening

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and trains Countroom staff; develops a team
• Maintains protection of currency and prevents loss with attention to detail
• Adheres to Ohio Lottery Commission rules for VLTs and Countroom procedures
• Communicates with Cage, Players Club, Revenue Audit, Security, Gaming, Surveillance and Compliance
• Schedules Count Room personnel to match drop schedule and business needs
• Ensures SOP compliance on gaming floor and in Countroom
• Transfers receipts to the Players Club and Accounting Department daily
• Identifies and solves issues; communicates with Surveillance, Finance and Security
• Operates equipment and computer programs; works within department budget
• Provides encouragement to team and conducts regular meetings
