Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a count room, cash handling, or related supervisory role.
• Knowledge of gaming regulations and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate count room team activities to ensure accurate counting and processing of facility revenue.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to cash handling and gaming regulations.
• Lead team members in counting, sorting, and verifying currency and coins with proper procedures.
• Complete and verify all paperwork and documentation related to revenue counts timely.
• Prepare and verify daily deposits and ensure secure transfer to vault or finance department.
• Maintain logs for all cash-related activities and report discrepancies or security concerns.
• Identify and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to supervisors.
• Ensure count room security procedures and surveillance practices are followed.
• Provide training and coaching to Count Room Attendants and promote teamwork and compliance.
• Assist in preparing management reports related to daily revenues and cash handling.
