Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Count Room Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Count Room and its staff in a casino setting. The role requires supervising attendants, ensuring policy adherence, and managing currency drops and deposits with strict internal controls.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in Count Room operations, supervisory experience, strong cash handling skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. English fluency and gaming regulatory certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Three (3) years of Count Room operations experience preferred.
• Supervisory (or higher) experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and a 10-key calculator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain gaming regulations certifications/licenses.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day operations of the Count Room and its staff.
• Supervise and direct count room attendants.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Personnel-related duties including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching.
• Oversee the drop and count of currency as required by Internal Controls.
• Prepare currency for use/deposit.
• Oversee count room equipment maintenance.
• Promote guest service and resolve guest issues.
• Maintain accountability of funds and complete required paperwork.
