Colonial Downs Group LLC in Rosie's Vinton, VA is hiring a Count Room Attendant who will collect cash box drops from the gaming floor and count cash and tickets in the count room in accordance with internal controls and state regulations.

The position offers $16.00 per hour and requires a high school diploma, basic math skills, and a Virginia Racing Commission license. Applicants should be able to work nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Basic arithmetic including decimals.
• Define problems, collect data, draw conclusions.
• Knowledge of internal controls and regulations for Finance.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications and count room software.

Responsibilities

• Collects gaming device drop boxes per policy and regs.
• Records accurate counts in count system.
• Prepares and reconciles money and tickets.
• Operates count machines per guidelines.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies.
• Maintains count room equipment and space.
• Notifies supervisor of malfunctions.
• Assist team with moving box cart.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
