Churchill Downs Incorporated's Colonial Downs Group is seeking a Count Room Attendant in Virginia to handle cash box drop counts and ticket counts in the count room in compliance with internal controls and state regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation starts at $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Adequate reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must obtain and maintain Virginia Racing Commission License.
• Knowledge of internal controls, regulations, and procedures for Finance.

Responsibilities

• Collects and counts cash boxes from the gaming floor in accordance with Internal Control Policies and state regulations.
• Records accurate counts in count systems and paperwork for reconciliation.
• Prepares paperwork to support and reconcile money and tickets counted.
• Operates count machines following guidelines and controls.
• Maintains Count room equipment and general upkeep; notifies supervisor of malfunctions.
