Job summary

Roseshire Gaming Parlor is seeking a Count Team Attendant to collect cash boxes from the gaming floor and count cash and tickets in the count room, adhering to internal controls and Virginia regulations. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to work a fast-paced schedule, including nights and weekends, with Virginia Racing Commission licensing.

Applicants should have basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to learn count room software while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must obtain and maintain Virginia Racing Commission License.

Responsibilities

• Collect gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines, kiosks etc. while adhering to Internal Control Policies and Procedures and local/state regulations.
• Records accurate count of each box in count system/sheet.
• Prepares and maintains proper paperwork to support and reconcile all money and tickets counted.
• Utilizes count machines in accordance with guidelines.
• Complies with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations; maintains confidentiality where necessary.
• Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of count room equipment.
• Maintains general upkeep of count room.
• Notifies Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
• Assists other Team Members in moving and safeguarding the box cart.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
