Caesars Entertainment in Danville, VA is seeking a Cash Handling Associate to drop and count casino revenue and maintain accuracy across multiple drop sources. The role requires loading currency counters, reconciling funds, and documenting counts with attention to security and compliance.

You must be 21+, fluent in English, able to work varied shifts, and capable of obtaining Virginia Lottery permits. The position carries a starting hourly rate and opportunities for growth within the Count Room

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Proficient in English verbal and written.
Proficient with iOS devices.
Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses including Virginia Lottery Gaming Permit.

Responsibilities

Responsible for dropping and counting the money pulled off the casino floor and other revenue sources.
Collects and counts revenue from various drop sources per MIC and departmental guidelines.
Counts, sorts, and organizes currency, coins, coupons, chips and paperwork.
Retrieves drop boxes and stores all boxes and carts securely.
Loads currency counters and reconciles counted funds.
Straps and hand-stamps money bundles; totals cash and documents by shift/date.
Enters count information into PC-based applications; prints and signs documents.
Accounts for count room keys and complies with MIC requirements.
Communicate currency counter maintenance to vendors/IT as needed.
Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
Follows safety and security guidelines; performs other duties as assigned.
