Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort in Dumfries, VA is seeking a Count Team Attendant to accurately collect and count cash boxes from the gaming floor and conduct count room tallies in line with Internal Control Policies.

Responsibilities include recording counts, reconciling figures with teammates, and preparing paperwork to support money and vouchers. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safe handling of cash is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in cash handling environments preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and menu-driven programs preferred.
• Virginia Racing Commission License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and count games’ cash boxes from the gaming floor.
• Count room cash and ticker counts in accordance with Internal Control Policies and Procedures.
• Record counts and reconcile amounts with other count Team Members.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork to support and reconcile money and vouchers.
• Works with count machines and coin rollers in accordance with guidelines.
• Assists other count Team Members in moving the box cart up to 400 pounds.
• Keeps supervisor informed of relevant activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
