Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Counselor (per-diem) for the Respite Unit in Massachusetts. You will provide one-on-one counseling, assessments, and group activities for adults with mental health challenges, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least two years of human services experience with psychiatric populations, and MAP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
• Two years of experience in a human services field or with a psychiatric population
• MAP Certification preferred
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English preferred

What You’ll Do:

As a Counselor in the Respite Unit, you will work directly with adults experiencing mental health challenges, providing one-on-one counseling, needs assessments, and group activities. You will also collaborate with family members and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that help individuals achieve their goals.

Scheduled: varies - 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm and 11pm-7:30am

Pay: $21.50/hr. with differential $1.00/hr. after 4pm and weekends $5/hr.
