Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Counselor Assistant/Intern to support patients with comprehensive psychological therapy under clinical supervision. The role is integral to addressing causes and effects of addiction while contributing to a larger mission of recovery and community transformation.

The position includes diverse responsibilities, from documentation to crisis counseling, with opportunities for ongoing training, and a benefits package that supports professional growth.

Competenze

• GED / high school diploma or higher.
• Certified as a Counselor in Training (CCIT) within 90 days of hire.
• Full certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I or higher) through GA ADACBGA or NBCC within three years of hire.

Mansioni

• Complete patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Provide orientation on program objectives, phase requirements, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient charts per policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and connect to resources.
• Arrange referrals to community resources as needed.
• Participate in case conferences and reviews.
