Pinnacle Treatment Centers in Georgia is seeking a Counselor Assistant/Intern to support patients with comprehensive psychological therapy under supervision of clinical leadership. The role helps address causes and effects of addiction and supports treatment planning and patient education.

The position offers 18 days PTO, 401k with company match, ongoing training and certifications, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and STAR LRP.

Formación

• GED / high school diploma or higher.
• CCIT certification within 90 days of hire.
• CADC I or NBCC NCC certification within 3 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation in accordance with standards.
• Provide patients with orientation regarding program objectives, phase requirements, rules and regulations, sanctions, hours of services, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases following state and federal guidelines.
• Keep clinical documentation and patient charts updated per policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and identify resources to resolve crises.
• Advise patients who do not comply with program requirements and clarify consequences.
• Arrange referrals to community resources as needed.
• Participate in case conferences and reviews.
• Stay informed on regulations regarding confidentiality and methadone treatment.
