Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work at Vantage Health in Wakefield, MA. You will work with residents and under OT supervision to turn goals into daily achievements through tailored sessions.

Role requires MA OTA license and COTA certification; new grads welcome. Expect flexible PRN scheduling and a collaborative rehab team with leadership support.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and recognize concerns requiring OT input.
• Effective communication and accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement the supervising OT's treatment plan through purposeful activities and self-care practice.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Lead prescribed therapeutic activities for upper-extremity function and daily tasks.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment use and compensatory techniques in the plan of care.
• Report changes in resident performance to the OT and document services promptly.
• Share relevant care strategies with nursing and rehabilitation staff.
