Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will follow treatment plans, document progress, support discharge planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance residents’ daily functioning. PRN scheduling offers flexibility while making a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in South Carolina (in good standing).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals.
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes.
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies.
