Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role in Simpsonville, SC. You will provide patient-centered therapy under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and support discharge planning and caregiver education.

Responsibilities include documenting daily treatments, following treatment plans, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident progress and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active SC COTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of accredited OTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals.
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes.
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
