Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN position. You will work under an licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver therapeutic services, helping residents improve independence and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered SC COTA license.
• Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassion for an underserved population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Follow physician treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes.
• Monitor and report patient progress to the therapy team.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Help maintain a clean, safe therapy environment.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides as needed.

Position Summary

• Monitor and report patient progress to the therapy team


• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education
