Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in Simpsonville, SC.

You will follow physician treatment plans, document daily treatments and progress notes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident goals and discharge planning. Competitive benefits include insurance, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in South Carolina (in good standing).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals.
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes.
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies.
