Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for home health in Preble County, Ohio and surrounding areas. This part-time/PRN role involves delivering therapy under a licensed OT, helping patients improve independence and safety at home.

Responsibilities include ADL independence, caregiver education, progress documentation, and collaboration with the care team. Ohio COTA license and CPR/BLS are required, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety with equipment.
• Observe, document and report patient progress to the supervising OT and care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
