Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for home health in Butler County, Ohio and surrounding areas. Work under a licensed OT to deliver patient-centered therapy at home, focusing on independence and safety. Part-time or PRN with weekly pay and a supportive team.

You will assess progress, educate patients/caregivers, and document care while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio COTA license.
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the plan of care under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe equipment use.
• Observe, document and report patient progress and changes to the supervising OT.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support outcomes.
