Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Preble County, Ohio and surrounding areas is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team. Working under a licensed OT, you will provide individualized therapy to help patients improve independence, safety, and quality of life in their homes.

The role offers flexible scheduling as Part-Time or PRN with pay per visit, weekly pay, PTO, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio COTA license.
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the safe use of equipment.
• Observes, documents and reports patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising OT.
• Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
