Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to assist patients in their recovery through the implementation of tailored therapy programs. This role prioritizes patient-centered care and involves collaboration with team members to enhance patients' physical abilities.

The COTA will work to ensure a compassionate atmosphere while adapting treatment approaches to meet individual needs. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited program and initial certification from the National Board.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet each patient's unique needs.
• Collaborate with peers for patient care.
• Ensure quality service in a compassionate atmosphere.
