Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy and implement established recovery plans. You will contribute to patient progress by applying targeted OT activities and treatments, with a focus on restoring independence.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Director of Rehab, and participate in a mentorship-driven environment that supports your professional growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and help patients regain independence.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain a patient-centered, compassionate care approach.

Education

Initial NBCOT certification

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
