Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs and deliver treatments within facility settings. You will follow recovery plans and work toward restoring patients’ independence, addressing whole-patient needs with compassion.

You will collaborate closely with the Director of Rehab and the broader rehab team, ensuring top-quality care and coordinating with families as needed. Opportunities for growth and professional mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial NBCOT certification obtained and maintained as required.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to support patient goals.
• Address whole-patient needs and promote independence.
• Support family education and coordinate referrals when needed.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
