Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Garner, NC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our daytime, full-time team at Hartwell Heath & Rehab Center. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and contribute to patient progress through documentation and patient education.

Ideal candidates hold a current, unencumbered state COTA license with NBCOT certification; eligible for licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
