Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility. Open to new grads or experienced COTAs, with 13‑week contracts (extension possible) or permanent placement, day shifts, and a competitive pay package including housing and travel stipends for travelers.

You will assist in delivering OT services under supervision, implement individualized treatment plans, focus on ADLs and functional mobility, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team,

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain). New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
