Job summary

FullShift Staffing in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract or permanent placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Shifts are days, with competitive pay and housing/travel stipends for travelers.

New grads welcome; flexible options to travel or stay local. You will support patients in ADLs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and receive onboarding and ongoing support, ensuring quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain). New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
