Job summary

FullShift Staffing in Ohio is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a skilled nursing setting. The role features a 13-week contract with option to extend, or permanent placement, and a competitive hourly rate with housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome and supported to grow, with flexible travel or local placement options. You will help patients gain independence through ADLs and functional mobility while collaborating with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain). New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
