Job summary

FullShift Staffing is recruiting for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This contract-based role offers a path from 13-week engagements to permanent placement, with flexible travel options.

You'll work days, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support ADLs and independence, and receive weekly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers. New grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain). New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
