Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide patient-centered treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a long-term care setting. You will implement goals set by the OT, document progress weekly, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care for geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Report patient progress weekly to supervising OT and document accordingly.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
