Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best-practice treatments under OT supervision. The role emphasizes accurate progress notes, collaboration with care teams, and timely documentation of patient progress in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active COTA license, has experience in geriatric or long-term care, and demonstrates strong patient-focused care with professional conduct and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license/registration for the state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of the OT.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation writing skills and timely progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Document patient progress weekly and accurately.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
