Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation team. The COTA will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, document progress, and contribute to patient-centered care in a long-term/geriatric setting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid COTA license/registration, demonstrates strong documentation skills, and collaborates with all disciplines to deliver high-quality therapy services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license/registration as a COTA.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of an OT.
• Experience in long-term/geriatric care preferred but not required.
• Strong documentation and timely progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Document patient progress and weekly notes.
• Support OT goals and adapt treatments as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal care.
• Adhere to facility policies and supervision requirements.
