Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility care team. You will implement customized therapy programs, follow established recovery plans, and deliver treatments aimed at restoring patients’ abilities and independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, refer to colleagues when appropriate, and provide compassionate, high-quality service in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer as needed to ensure patient care thrives.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a patient-centered atmosphere.
