Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Port Orchard, WA. The role provides direct rehab care under an OT supervision, following physician referrals and Life Care standards.

Ideal candidates hold NBCOT certification upon hire, an active state license, and at least a year of experience (new grads welcome). CPR must be current; opportunities for advancement exist within a patient-centered SNF setting.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT).
• Licensed/registered in the applicable State; active license required.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow established occupational treatment plans under a supervising OT.
• Chart patient progress accurately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software for documentation and tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrate safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct in all interactions.
