Job summary

Life Care Center of Federal Way seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide direct rehab in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT in a SNF setting.

Must be NBCOT certified, hold an accredited OT program degree, and maintain an active state license; CPR certification required. New grads welcome. PRN, day shifts with CEU and 401(k) opportunities.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license.
• CPR certification upon hire.
• One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans under supervision of the OT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Liaise with patients, families, and staff to plan patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
